755 nm

Highest melanin absorption — most effective for fine, light-coloured hair on fair skin (Fitzpatrick I–II). Provides thorough follicle damage with minimal epidermal impact when used in combination mode.

808 nm

The gold-standard diode wavelength for hair removal. Optimal for medium to dark hair on a wide range of skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–IV), offering the best balance of absorption and penetration depth.

940 nm

Intermediate wavelength with strong water absorption that targets deeper follicles and the perifollicular vasculature, contributing to higher efficacy on coarser hair and deeper-rooted follicles.

1064 nm

Lowest melanin absorption — safely treats the darkest skin tones (Fitzpatrick V–VI) and coarse, dark hair with minimal risk to the surrounding epidermis.

Four-Wavelength Multi-Diode Technology

3000 W Peak Power

High peak power enables shorter, more effective pulses that thermally destroy follicles without prolonged heat exposure. The result is better efficacy per session and reduced overall session count for the client.

4-Way Continuous Cooling System

Four independent cooling channels — contact cooling, internal refrigeration, air circulation, and sapphire tip cooling — work simultaneously to maintain skin surface temperature throughout the session. The system sustains continuous operation for up to 72 hours without performance degradation.

Each wavelength has a distinct absorption and penetration profile. Combining 755 nm, 808 nm, 940 nm, and 1064 nm in a single pulse ensures that light, medium, and dark hair across all skin tones is addressed simultaneously — reducing the number of passes needed and improving overall efficacy compared to single-wavelength diode systems.
Can SBC DIODE treat tanned skin?
The 940 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths allow safe treatment of tanned or darker skin tones. However, very recent sun exposure or deep tans elevate epidermal melanin and should be assessed on a case-by-case basis. A patch test and appropriate parameter adjustment are always recommended.
How many sessions are typically required for permanent hair reduction?
Most clients achieve 80–92% hair reduction after 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Hormonal conditions or very light/fine hair may require additional sessions. Maintenance treatments once or twice a year are recommended for long-term results.
