How does cryolipolysis permanently reduce fat?

Fat cells (adipocytes) are more sensitive to cold than skin or other tissues. When cooled to –11°C to 0°C, fat cells undergo apoptosis — a controlled natural cell death process. Over the following 4–12 weeks the body's lymphatic system gradually removes the crystallised cells, permanently reducing the fat layer in the treated area. Skin, nerves, and blood vessels are unaffected.

How many sessions are needed?

Many clients achieve their target result with a single session per area, depending on the volume of fat present. A second session 8–12 weeks later can address remaining fat or an adjacent zone. CRYOLUX's 360° cooling often achieves greater single-session reduction than earlier platforms.

Is CRYOLUX suitable for weight loss?

Cryolipolysis is a body contouring tool, not a weight loss treatment. It is most effective for clients within approximately 10 kg of their target weight who have localised, pinchable fat deposits that have not responded to diet and exercise. Results are permanent provided the client maintains a stable weight.
